The body’s language consists of our sensations, but modern life’s often frenetic pace makes it more difficult to slow down and listen to what the body wants to tell us. By focusing on the breath and turning our attention inward, we can unlock closed doors and receive the messages that our bodies have to share with us.
In this slow flow workshop, we will learn to pause and fine-tune our collective focus on the breath and, through asana practice, use the body to facilitate the process of unwinding and dialing down frenetic energy. Using the breath to anchor focus while maintaining internal peace and calm, even in the midst of a challenging posture, practitioners can uncover the ability to soften intense sensations and quiet the mind’s chatter. By continuing to make space for the breath, the intensity of the moment will transform into something more tolerable, allowing you to relax into the reality of what is and even enjoy an interesting conversation with your body. Victoria will guide you as you step into your own unique journey.
