Victoria offers private training to anyone looking to improve their yoga technique, be it finally mastering that difficult asana to working an injury safely, Victoria will encourage you to develop a sense of well-being, improve overall balance, flexibility, and mindfulness. Victoria tailors each private session for the development of your body and mind.

Victoria’s area of expertise is low back pain. Victoria was part of the research team at Boston Medical Center Yoga for Low Back Pain. This research lasted 4 years and it was to give Yoga more scientific credibility, documenting how Yoga can help reduce chronic back pain. Victoria taught Yoga for Chronic Low Back Pain to study participants. Our dream is that one day Yoga would be prescribed to people suffering from back pain in place of pain medication.

I have been a student of Victoria for close to four years. She was working with my husband when I met her. I had developed frozen shoulder in both of them. I could not raise my arms past my elbow height. I was in pain and had a very hard time sleeping. I started working with Victoria as a last resort as nothing else was really working. Little by little I developed more range of motion. Victoria took her time with me and always had a plan of action to unfreeze my shoulders. Most importantly I trusted her. YOGA EN ESPAÑOL

El Yoga es la unión del cuerpo, mente y alma.

Por medio de la respiración (la cuál se usa como punto de enfoque para la mente) se logra un estado de conciencia. Esto significa que uno aquieta la mente para recibir los mensajes del cuerpo (por medio de las sensaciones). En la clase de Yoga en Español usted va a aprender a concentrar la mente, hacer movimientos conscientes y coordinados con la respiración (asanas), a desarrollar más flexibilidad en su cuerpo y sentirse más fuerte mental y físicamente.

Victoria Garcia Drago lleva 18 años dando clases de Yoga en el área de Boston. Su estilo es una combinación de diferentes estilos de Yoga. Victoria creció en Argentina donde estudió en la Universidad para ser profesora de Inglés. Durante su tiempo como estudiante, Victoria tomó clases de Yoga en varios institutos.

Una vez llegada a los EE.UU., Victoria hizo la certificación de Yoga en 500+ horas en el estudio de Yoga de Barbara Benagh, la cual fue su profesora principal por casi 20 años. Victoria también estudia con Shiva Rea (hasta el día actual) y acaba de completar una Maestría en estudio de Cuerpo y Mente y la integración de los dos. En el 2014, Victoria fue elegida por la revista SHAPE como una de las entrenadoras físicas más atractivas del país. Además Victoria tiene certificado de Boston University como traductora e intérprete Médica y Legal. Su profundo conocimiento en el idioma Inglés y Español es lo que la llevó a ser la autora del DVD “Yoga, mas allá de lo Básico” el cual produjo y filmó en el 2010. El vídeo esta grabado en Inglés y Español. Así mismo, Victoria también ha completado una certificación de Reiki, niveles 1 & 2.
